Will you Adopt a Block?

Come join us this Saturday, May 7 from 9:30 am – 12 pm to tag along and see what it’s all about.

We’ve started Adopt-A-Block with one block and a handful of people committed to loving on them. We need YOUR community group to adopt one of the other many blocks we need sponsored.

If it’s not possible for your group to sponsor a block, then find individuals in your group that share the heart and giftings to be involved and connect us with them. Part of our job as leaders is to help and encourage people to use the shape God has given them for ministry. We can always use additional members to our existing team and the teams we have yet to build.

The video above explains some of what this is all about, but here’s a quick version…

Our current Adopt A Block meets the first Saturday of every month from 9:30 to 12 to walk the community, get to know the people on our block, create conversations and develop relationships. (But if your community group adopts another block, the timing can be set by you, as long as it’s consistent!)

We have had opportunities to pray with people, encourage people, connect with them and share the love of Christ in a practical way. Consistency is the key to fostering these relationships and it will be all the difference in impacting in their lives.

My group has joined with several individuals for the first Adopt-A-Block, and we absolutely love our time with the community each month.
